Crackerjack Has Officially Gone Postal

If you’ve been following along lately, then you already know…things have gotten a little chaotic around here.

There are stacks of envelopes everywhere. The printer has basically been running nonstop. Our tables have completely disappeared under paper, stamps, and little piles of organized confusion.

And honestly, we’re loving every second of it and are so excited to finally get these out to you!

What started as a simple little idea has slowly turned into something that feels really special to us. Over the years, social media has changed our everyday lives and made it easier than ever to stay connected, but at the same time…everything also feels a little less personal now as well. In a weird way, that easier way to stay connected has really caused us to lose our "real" connections with one another. Writing letters has become a thing of the past, and truth be told, talking to one another on the phone doesn't seem too far behind. Now everyone just texts, dm's, reshares or sends funny posts on social media. Today's world is a lot different for sure, not necessarily better, but it feels like it's becoming....

Faster.

Temporary.

Disposable.

So, we wanted to try and change that. We wanted to create something that's more than scrolling and liking a picture. We wanted to go about things a little different.

Something slower.

Something physical.

Something more personal.

Something that you can't wait to show up in your mailbox and makes you excited to open it.

That’s where the CJ Junk Mail idea came from & hopefully what it becomes!

Every month, our paid CJ Crew members will receive a real, physical, tangible envelope full of Crackerjack mail inspired by the current or upcoming holiday, some of our favorite places & things, or random ideas we happen to be excited about at the time. And part of the fun is that you never quite know what’s going to show up.

We want it to feel personal. Like getting a letter, postcard, or package from an old friend.

Something you leave sitting out on the counter for a few days instead of immediately throwing it away with the rest of the mail. And judging by all the emails we’ve received lately…a lot of you seem just as excited about this idea as we are!

We’ve also had quite a few questions lately, so we want to quickly clear up any confusion surrounding our "Junk Mail".

How To Make Sure You Get Our Junk Mail

CJ Junk Mail is something we currently offer exclusively for our paid Crew members. Since every piece is physically designed, printed, packed, stamped, and mailed out by us right here at Crackerjack, a paid subscription is required to cover the costs associated with everything that goes into our "Junk Mail". So, in order to receive the monthly mail, you will have to officially sign up as a paid CJ Crew member through our website membership plans. Signing up for our free "Club" membership does not allow you to receive the monthly mailings.

Unfortunately, we also cannot manually add people to the mailing list or sign members up ourselves since everything is connected directly through our website membership system.

Your very first CJ Junk Mail envelopes are officially packed and getting ready to head out.

A Quick Note About Monthly Mailings

CJ Junk Mail goes out once each month, with our goal of having everything mailed by the 15th. New Crew members who sign up before the end of the month will begin receiving their first Junk Mail the following month. So, for example: If you join the Crew anytime during May, your first CJ Junk Mail will head out in June.
